ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION
In 1991, he defended his Ph.D. thesis on “Quantum tunneling with dissipation” in the specialty 01.04.02 “Theoretical physics” (supervisor - Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor A.I. Larkin).
In 2004, he defended his Doctoral dissertation on the topic “Quantum mechanisms for controlling the parameters of mesoscopic systems” in the specialty 01.04.07 “Condensed matter physics” (scientific consultant - Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor V. D. Krevchik).

ACADEMIC AWARDS AND GRANTS
He is a leading researcher at the Research Center “Optics of tunnel-coupled nanostructures and surface nanoengineering”.
He has a patent for the invention “Method for the controlled growth of quantum dots from colloidal gold”.
He is the holder of grant ID N S-05052 of the Japan Foundation for the Promotion of Science for scientific exchange with the Research Institute at Tokyo
International Medical Center.
He is a performer of the state budget research work “Nonlinear properties of quantum molecules under conditions of dissipative tunneling” and the state assignment “Tunnel transport and optical properties of quasi-zero and quasi-two-dimensional structures in an electric field”.
He is an Honorary Professor at the Institute for Basic Research (Florida, USA).
He is elected as a corresponding member at the International Teacher's Training Academy of Science".
He is awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation for merits in scientific and pedagogical activities, and with the honorary title “Honored Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation” (2016).
